Processing Issue Identified and Corrected – 2/12/2018
For All EDI Gateway Submitters

EDI Support Services (EDISS) identified a processing issue in the EDI Gateway that affected inbound files between 1:00 am – 8:00 am (CT) on 2/12/2018. Please review any 837 submissions from this timeframe to ensure corresponding 999 and 277CA acknowledgement reports were received. If your file did not generate reports, please resubmit the affected file(s) if you have not done so already.

Gateway Intermittent Connectivity: Resolved – 2/12/2018

EDI Support Services (EDISS) has resolved the intermittent connectivity issues for modem users. EDISS apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
NOTE: Submitters who utilize a connectivity vendor (NSV) did not experience this error. If you are interested in looking into the connectivity vendors that we work with visit www.edissweb.com, select your state and select the Software/Connectivity option.

Processing Issue Identified and Corrected – 1/26/2018
For All EDI Gateway Submitters

EDI Support Services (EDISS) identified a processing issue in the EDI Gateway that caused duplicate reports to be delivered to Submitter mailboxes from 4:00 PM on 1/25/2018 to 7:15 AM on 1/26/2018 (CST). This issue has been corrected and any duplicate reports received from that timeframe can be disregarded.

Resolved: 277CA Report Delivery Delay
For All Medicare Part A and B Regions

EDISS is currently experiencing a 277CA report delivery delay associated to 837 files submitted after approximately 9:00 am (CST) on 12/10/2017. The 277CA reports for files affected by the processing delay have delivered. Files are now processing files within normal timeframes

277CA Acknowledgement Report Delay

EDI Support Services (EDISS) identified a subset of 277CA Acknowledgement Reports for files submitted after 3 pm (CT) on August 29, 2017 that did not successfully deliver to Submitter mailboxes. These files have all been redelivered successfully.

The EDI Support Services (EDISS) Gateway is currently experiencing latency that may affect connectivity and file transfers (both uploading and downloading). All functionality is available, although users may see slowness while using the system. EDISS apologizes for any inconvenience this may be causing.

Incorrect 277CA Acknowledgment Rejections

EDI Support Services (EDISS) was informed by Centers for Medicare Medicaid Services (CMS) of a nation-wide issue impacting the Medicare Part A NPI crosswalk on May 17, 2017. Due to this issue Medicare Part A files submitted may have received incorrect rejections related to this issue.

EDISS will send a notification once the issue is resolved and the claims can be resubmitted. EDISS apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
