For All Trading Partners

EDI Support Services (EDISS) is committed to helping Trading Partners lower administrative burdens and costs by encouraging the use of 835 Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA). Healthcare providers, who made the switch from paper remittances to ERA, prefer receiving ERA. The following are advantages of the ERA:

To register for ERA, add the transaction to your profile in Total OnBoarding (TOB) and indicate how the transaction will be received. If you need assistance with the registration process, see the TOB user guide located at www.edissweb.com.

Total OnBoarding Implementation Continues

For All Iowa Medicaid Trading Partners

On February 1, 2010, EDI Support Services (EDISS) will implement Total OnBoarding (TOB) for all Iowa Medicaid providers.

TOB is a user-friendly online registration and testing tool, replacing the current paper registration and claim testing process. TOB will be required for all Iowa Medicaid providers. During the transition to TOB, EDISS will determine a date when this process will fully replace the current paper registration process, and EDISS will no longer accept paper registration forms.

EDISS is pleased to offer the following TOB workshops during the month of January:

NOTE: Iowa Medicaid providers not already registered in TOB are strongly encouraged to attend these sessions.
