E-mail Distribution
Electronic
Data Interchange Support Services (EDISS) sends E-mail Distributions to

updates. Direct all questions regarding the content of this E-mail to EDISS.

EDI Support Services (EDISS) recently used Total OnBoarding (TOB) as a resource to increase the audience of our EDISS Email Distribution. If this is the first distribution you have received, it is because your email was included as a contact email in the TOB system.
EDISS uses email distributions to pass along news, updates, and other important information. Distributions allow us to reach a large section of our electronic community that may not frequently check the EDISS home page, www.edissweb.com, for updates. It is a fast and effective tool that is necessary in the ever changing world of electronic media claims.

It is an EDISS
expectation that all providers registered for electronic media claims log into
Total OnBoarding (TOB) and take control of their provider profile.
If you are a
provider currently enrolled with EDISS for any electronic transaction (e.g.,
claim submission, electronic remittance, etc.) your TOB profile information was
auto loaded on your behalf by EDISS. To access profile information, your
submitter id and tax identification number is required.
It is vital for
all providers to establish a log in and password for accessing TOB. The log in
and password gives providers the ability to make changes to their profile
information, add NPI’s, or adjust electronic transactions at any time. All
registration changes must be made through TOB.
If you have
questions on the proper steps required to access TOB and take control of your
profile, EDISS recommends you visit the Total OnBoarding page of www.edissweb.com. The TOB Provider User
Guide is located on the TOB page, and this document walks you through all of the
steps of profile validation. You may also contact the EDISS help desk at
The newest
edition of the EDI Support Services (EDISS) newsletter, EDISS News, has been
posted to the News and Publication page of www.edissweb.com.
For those unfamiliar with the
EDISS Newsletter, it is an electronic newsletter designed around topics of
interest provided to EDISS by our Trading Partners. For example, the last EDISS Newsletter
focuses on Total Onboarding. Topics are determined based on feedback from our
provider community. If you have a
topic or idea you would like to see in a future newsletter, please e-mail your
suggestion to support@edissweb.com.
EDISS welcomes
suggestions from our Trading Partners and looks forward to providing you with
useful information through EDISS News.
On occasion,
EDISS may experience a delay in claim file processing or report delivery.
Typically, this is related to extremely large Trading Partner files being
submitted, abnormally high file submission, or heavy traffic on the Bulletin
Board System during peak hours of operation.
EDISS understands
this can be frustrating at times, but wants to remind all Trading Partners that
even when a processing delay occurs, claims are still collected and given proper
time of receipt. This ensures claims that pass to the respective data centers
will process with the accurate date of submission.
For concerns on a
processing delay, please contact the EDISS Help Desk at
