Iowa Medicaid Electronic Remittance Advice Delayed
Iowa Medicaid 5010 Electronic Remittance Advice (835's) for March 28, 2012, are delayed. EDI Support Services (EDISS) apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. A follow-up email will be sent once the delay is resolved.

5010 Processing Issue - Update
EDI Support Services (EDISS) experienced an intermittent processing issue affecting North Dakota (ND), South Dakota (SD) and Wyoming (WY) Trading Partners. A Place of Service (POS) error occurred where claims may have rejected on the 277CA report with the A7:249 error. This issue only affects ND/SD/WY claims sent on 3/21/2012 and 3/22/2012. Most of the affected claims were sent to EDISS on 3/21/12. EDISS was not able to resubmit these claims as some of the claims within the file accepted. If EDISS resubmits the claims, it could cause duplication within the Medicare processing system and impact processing. Please resubmit only the rejected claims, not the entire file as this was at a claim level rejection. EDISS apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
