EDISS Connect Accuracy

For All Submitters

When contacting EDI Support Services (EDISS) for assistance with claim files, it is important to ensure that the provider's EDISS Connect 837P/837I transaction reflects the vendor submitting the claims. EDISS Connect is the record of partnership between a vendor and a provider, which gives EDISS staff permission to assist with files submitted by that vendor. Effective 11/1/2021, if the vendor calling is not on record in EDISS Connect for the provider, the caller will be directed to have the provider access EDISS Connect and update it. Once the provider has made the required update, EDISS will then be able to assist with questions.
