Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) 835
An ERA is the electronic version of the Standard Paper Remit (SPR), which serves as a notice of payments and adjustments sent to providers, billers and suppliers. It explains the reimbursement decisions of the payer.

Register for the ERA
- Add the 835 transaction to your Total OnBoarding (TOB) profile.
- If additional paperwork is needed, TOB will prompt you for this to be completed.
- Decide where your remittance will be sent
- Remits can be sent to your Billing Service/Clearinghouse or,
- Directly back to your facility
